Dynamically robust coordinated set point tracking of distributed DERs at point of common coupling

چکیده

Low-inertia operation of small-scale power systems, such as a microgrid or portion long feeder, requires careful coordination the controller performance constituting devices. This challenge is exacerbated in microgrids serving functionalities conventional synchronous-based generation unit while comprised smaller DERs operating mainly interfaced through electronics converters. paper builds on idea set point modulation and proposes two-level control strategy that aims to achieve superior at common coupling (PCC) by combining local level with distributed coordinated level. Several case studies both AC DC CIGRE low-voltage benchmark system test microgrid, validate proposed approach. The real-world applicability approach established via high-fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) experimental setup an application study grid frequency regulation. enables participate ancillary service provisions where speed quality regulation are critical.
